We have gone for a lunch and a breakfast in the past couple of weeks and both meals were delicious. Food was hot and very tasty. Servers were both friendly and very efficient. Looking forward to trying different things on the menu. Highly recommend for a casual small town dining experience.

The food was good, but would not recommend the hash browns (they are the same potato "cake" that you get at McDs. The service has been good anytime I have been there, but normally don't visit during peak hours The atmosphere is just about what I would expect from a small town diner type restaurant

Food was delicious, so many choices. But almost more importantly the waitresses were friendly and seemed to be happy working. The stop off for lunch was a great experience :) we had 8 people and they immediately took us back and it was steady with customers throughout the time we were there.

You won't find a better breakfast in this area for your dollar. Traditional breakfast items at a great price. Family Friendly environment with great service. Even when on a wait the food comes fast and hot!

This little place is a hidden gem. We love the food here especially the all you can eat chicken on Sundays that come with sides. The parking can be tricky at times. They have a pull up outside the restaurant for pick up orders as well. Great for large and small families. The employees definitely hustle on Sundays. Great staff.

Sometimes small town America gets looked down upon or cast as having less spectacular places to eat than the city. This place is in the middle of small town Americana and also offers outstanding food, service, and variety.

We took a Sunday drive, eventually landing in New Baden, Illinois. We stopped in for their family-style, all-you-can-eat chicken dinner, and it was well worth the price. We couldn't have made something like this at home for just $12.99. It was a quaint, peaceful cafe with plenty of comfort food on the menu. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

Hands down probably some of the best all you can eat fried chicken around.... We usually will come on Sunday nights and are greeted and sat quickly by the staff. It is $10 per person for the all you can eat chicken and it runs from 11am-8pm on Sunday's. The chicken is fresh, crunchy and juicy, the sides are all great. Nothing to complain about. 10/10 Thanks New Baden

No better breakfast around! First thing to know about Good Ol Days is that Jane (one of the servers) has worked there 35 years since she was in high school. She and her colleagues have their act together. Service is quick, food is plentiful and tasty, and you'll get what you came for: good eats at good prices. The old guy next to us brought his own fruit for his oatmeal... not because the cafe doesn't offer it, but because he grew it himself! You don't get a lot of that at Panera Bread, you city folks!

It was my first time coming here I was greeted with a smile and all the people were friendly and kind. I talked to some of the customers and staff everyone was awesome. The restaurant was clean as you can see in my pictures. My server name was Ms.Taylor she was staying very busy at lunch time. She kept my tea glass full and the food coming. The evening staff is coming in and getting started and new servers are learning and a great place to work with friendly people. The food is awesome and delicious and I will go back for more.
